京都の自然200選(大山崎町)

桂川、木津川、宇治川三川合流地

This one confounded me for quite some time. Since it is the point where three rivers merge that is being celebrated, I was certain that the K200 signpost would be somewhere on or around the 背割堤 or perhaps nearby the 淀川三川合流域さくらであい館, but that turned out fruitless, after a lot of exploration of the surrounding area. It turns out that it is nowhere near the rivers in question, but rather halfway up 天王山, in a location known for having an excellent view of the three rivers merging.

This one is easy; you really can't miss the signpost on the main ascent route from JR Yamazaki. It also happens to be just a few paces away from the signpost for 桂川、木津川、宇治川三川合流地, a nice two-for-one deal.
